3 Days to go !!! Please note a final schedule v3.0 attached. The updates are relatively minor to alleviate some congestion in the morning & middle session. Also there was a break/error in the Volunteer signup link from the previous update. This has been corrected. Ensure you sign-up by end of today to ensure eligibility of your athlete.
===================
NOMINATIONS to enter Centre Champsionships are now closed. Reminder that if you have yet to sign up for Volunteer Duty please do so via the link below.
Also, with the relatively low numbers the U12 Boys & Girls and U13 Boys & Girls will be combined. Each age group’s placings will be determined by a points system calibrated by gender & age.
VOLUNTEER: Duty sign-up is available now via:
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e44aaa822a4fbc52-smdlac1#/ All families, regardless of number athletes/events entered are required to volunteer for OR perform Event Offical duties. We can’t do this without you. Not only will you contribute to a great day, but you’ll also be close to the action as only volunteers will be permitted on the track. Updated FAQ v3.0 attached.
Please NOTE. Unfortunately if you do not nominate for duty by Wednesday 22nd March 11:59pm, your athlete(s) may be withdrawn from the competition.

The committee is pleased to present the 2023 Centre Championships, with a full set of events scheduled for the day.
Having now grown to a membership base of 280+, we are in a position to offer our athletes a track & field day that is fun, whilst also providing an experience similar to Little Athletics Victoria’s Track & Field Region carnival. It will be a great way to complete our summer season. The Championships will require the support of all our participating families to make a success.
A FAQs and Schedule attached (and subject to change). PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY.
Please note main highlights:
- U6/7 will not need to pre-register. A limited program will be run with all participants receiving a medal.
- U8+ will require pre-registration (a nomination link to be provided shortly)
U8 limited to 4 events. U9+ limited to 5 events. U14+ Boys & Girls will compete as one age group, with placings determined by a points system calibrated by gender & age group. Medals to be offered per event for top 3 placings. In addition to the top three place getters receiving medals, if you finish outside the top 3 and get a PB you will get a PB medal. This applies for each event.
- As per LA Vics Region Track & Field Carnival, parent guardians are responsible to ensure their athlete makes their event(s). There will be NO Age Group Manager to coordinate your child(ren).
- Event Officials will be assigned. This will be our coaches and experienced parents, whom we’ll ask to nominate also via the sign-up form.
We’re looking forward to seeing you on the day!
