Hello Members, we will be celebrating the completion of the 2021/22 summer season with our Centre Championship day on Sunday 27th Mar @ Lakeside. The championship is based on combined events (schedule is attached).

Athletes are awarded points based on their performance in each discipline. U6 to U12 age groups will compete using the Alberta points system, as adopted by LA Vic’s State Combined Championships.

Following age groups will compete using the NSW Little Aths points system, which calibrates the performance/points based on age and gender.
• U13&14B combined
• U13&14G combined
• U15+ combined

As this is a Championship day:
- Event will run from 8:40am – 12:00pm, please be on time for warmup.
- Field events (i.e. long jump/ shotput, discus) will be limited to 1 practice run followed by maximum of 3 attempts. Any foul committed will be included as an attempt.
- Track events will be run once, there are no finals.
- Presentations will be made to each age group at the end of the day.
- The event is limited to SMDLAC registered members, no Trial members on the day.

The BBQ will also be available from ~10:30am onwards. See you there!
