Regional Cross Country entries are now open. For South Melbourne athletes the event will be held at: Geelong Baptist College 590 Anakie Rd, Lovely Banks on Sat 25 June.

All entries must be done online via portal links on the LAVic Region Cross Country event page.

The costs are: $20 (admin fee) early bird until Wednesday 8th June 11.59pm and $40 ( admin fee) Standard entry from 9/6/16. Entries close Wednesday 15th June 11.59pm (Note that this entry fee covers the cost for both Region and State Championships).

There are some other important considerations for athletes to be aware of.

- Athletes must register and compete at the Region to which their Centre is allocated. SMDLAC is part of the Western Metropolitan Region (WMR) and the event will take place in Geelong

- All athletes who ran the summer season this year are able to enter

- The age group is based on the age group athletes competed in during the summer season

- All athletes planning to compete in the State Championships must compete in the Regional Championships
